AB This  painful  condition  usually  develops  with  straining  to  pass  stool.  Surgical  intervention  is  recommended,  especially  in  the  presence  of  severe  discomfort.  The  treatment  depends  on  the  time  of  presentation  after  appearance  of  the  haematoma.
